Passive to Active Voice
Passive to Active Voice means changing a sentence from Passive Voice to Active Voice without changing its original meaning.
In Passive Voice, the subject receives the action, while in Active Voice, the subject performs the action.

Steps to Change Passive into Active
Step 1
Find the subject, be verb, Past Participle (V₃), and agent (by + ...).
Example:
The room was cleaned by Ali.
- Subject → The room
- Be verb → was
- Main verb → cleaned (V₃)
- Agent → Ali
Step 2
Move the agent to the beginning of the sentence.

Choose the correct verb tense.
Since was cleaned is in the Past Simple Passive, the Active Voice uses the Past Simple.

When the Agent Is Missing
Sometimes the Passive Voice does not mention the doer of the action.
Example:
My bike was stolen.
The Active Voice could be:
Someone stole my bike.
or
A thief stole my bike.
Choose a logical subject based on the context.
Important Rules
- Keep the original tense unchanged.
- Change the Past Participle (V₃) back to the correct verb form.
- Move the agent to the subject position.
- Change pronouns correctly.
- If the agent is missing, use a suitable subject only when the context is clear.
