Present Perfect Tense
The Present Perfect Tense is used to describe actions that happened in the past but are connected to the present, life experiences, recently completed actions, and actions that started in the past and continue until now.
It is formed using has/have + past participle (V3).

When to Use the Present Perfect Tense
1. Completed Actions with Present Results
The action happened in the past, but the result is important now.
Examples
- I have lost my keys.
- She has broken her phone.
- We have finished the project.
2. Life Experiences
Used to talk about experiences without mentioning a specific time.
Examples
- I have visited India.
- She has flown on an airplane.
- Have you ever seen snow?
3. Recently Completed Actions
Often used with just, already, and yet.

- She hasn't finished yet.
4. Actions That Continue Until Now
Used with for and since.

Past Participle (V3)

Rules
- Use has with singular third-person subjects.
- Use have with I, you, we, and they.
- Always use the past participle (V3) after has/have.
- Do not use the Present Perfect with a specific finished time such as yesterday, last week, or in 2022.

Present Perfect vs Past Simple
