ইংরেজি ভাষায় কিছু নির্দিষ্ট Word (Verb, Noun, Adjective)-এর পর নির্দিষ্ট Preposition বসলে বিশেষ অর্থ প্রকাশ পায়। এদেরকে Appropriate Preposition বলা হয়। বিসিএস, বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় ভর্তি পরীক্ষা (DU, GST, RU, CU) এবং ব্যাঙ্ক জব পরীক্ষায় এখান থেকে ৩-৫টি প্রশ্ন আবশ্যকভাবে এসে থাকে।
